JORGE LANDEROS FROM FIFTY MILS WILL REPRESENT MEXICO IN GERMANY
Creativity knows no limits and not everything has been invented. This is what Jorge Landeros proved, bartender at Fifty Mils, who won the Bacardi Legacy 2017 national cocktail competition, with a creation that surprises from the first sip: UNIÓN.
This cocktail, made with a Bacardi Carta Blanca base, pineapple juice, lime, honey, herbal liquor, and citrus salt, surprised the judges during the finals of the contest, who did not hesitate in awarding Jorge and his talent with the representation of Mexico for the world finals, to be held in Berlin on May 23rd.
Jorge will compete against 38 bartenders from the rest of the world, who, using their own recipes and trying to prepare their cocktails with a flawless technique, will seek to crown themselves as global champions of this competition.

We wish Jorge Landeros the greatest success who, regardless of the outcome, will become Mexico’s ambassador in Europe for one week, representing not only the Fifty Mils bar, but also this moment our country is going through: filled with quality, creativity, and increasingly better bartenders.
Funnily his drink is called UNIÓN, there is no better name to represent the moment Mexico is living, where we are proud of what we are and what we produce, which reflects this awakening in which we understand that strengthening ties is what will lead us forward and will make us stronger.
And so, from this spot, I ask you to send your best vibes to Jorge Landeros and I invite you to feel proud to have someone represent us in the old continent at this competition.
And even though the rest of the contestants are talented and admired by us, stay calm, Jorge’s indelible smile and UNIÓN’s bold flavor represent us perfectly.
Fulfill your craving and taste UNIÓN, by Jorge Landeros at Fifty Mils; it is already on the menu.
Let’s toast for who we are.
